Qualification
Lifeline eligibility may be based on household income at or below 135% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines, or qualifying participation in an eligible assistance program, such as:
- Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
- Medicaid
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA)
- Veterans Pension and Survivors Benefit
- Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance (BIA)
- Tribal Head Start, if income qualifying standards are met
- Tribal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families
- Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR)
